Are there any prerequisites or language requirements?

There are no prerequisites. Our courses are open to all individuals aged 18 and above.

All courses are conducted in English. Video lectures include English subtitles, and you have the option to pause, slow down, or replay lectures for better comprehension. Since discussion boards are an integral part of our courses, we recommend that students possess conversational English skills when pursuing a Certificate of Completion. Writing courses require full proficiency in written English.

Can high school students enroll?

Can I take multiple courses simultaneously?

If you are new to online learning, we suggest starting with one course. Since courses are offered frequently throughout the year, you can always return to take additional courses later.

What if I need to start my course late?

We encourage students to begin their courses on time. However, if you need to start a few days late, contact your instructor as soon as possible after the course starts to discuss your options.

How do I sign up?

Registration is available on our website. Simply follow these steps:

  • Click the “My Account” button at the top right corner of the page.
  • Select “Sign Up.”
What should I do if my payment fails?
We apologize for the inconvenience. Contact your financial institution, as additional permissions may be required. You can also reach out to [email protected] for further assistance. If the issue persists, wait 24 hours before trying again. Ensure you have a strong internet connection and use an up-to-date browser.
Do you offer financial aid or payment plans?
Since our courses are noncredit, they are not eligible for state or federal financial aid. However, some students obtain employer-sponsored professional development support or external scholarships. In the UK, professional development fees may be tax-deductible, subject to applicable laws.

Technical Requirements

What are the minimum system requirements?

We recommend at least 4GB of RAM, a dual-core processor, and a stable internet connection of at least 5 Mbps for an optimal learning experience.

Do I need special equipment for online courses?

You should have an updated web browser, such as Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge. More information on supported browsers and system requirements is available in our guides.

Although courses can be accessed via mobile or tablet devices, we strongly recommend using a laptop or desktop computer with a reliable internet connection, especially for completing assignments and engaging in discussions.

Course Experience

How often do courses meet?

There are no set class times; courses are accessible 24/7. We recommend logging in 3 – 4 times per week for at least two hours to stay engaged with materials and interact with your instructor.

What if I need to take a short break from my course?

Inform your instructor as soon as possible. Try to keep up with coursework while away. Your instructor will help determine what accommodations, if any, can be made.

How can I ensure a course is the right fit?

If you’re unsure, you can pay for courses and webinars on a lesson-by-lesson basis. By default, the full course price is displayed in your cart. To adjust the number of lessons, modify the “Number of Lessons” field. The total cost will be recalculated automatically.

Are textbooks required?

All required reading materials are included in your course. Instructors may recommend additional resources for further study.

Course Completion

What happens after I finish my course?
Congratulations! You will have read-only access to course materials for 90 days to review and reflect.
How do I obtain my certificate?

Upon successfully completing a course, you are eligible for a digital Certificate of Completion. Course requirements typically include:

  • Active participation in discussion forums.
  • Timely submission of assignments.

Most courses require one or two short written assignments. If you have questions about certificate eligibility, contact your instructor early in the course. Certificates are emailed within three weeks after course completion.

Is the Certificate of Completion accredited?
Our certificates demonstrate your learning achievements but are not formally accredited. However, they can be a valuable addition to your professional portfolio.
Can online courses count toward a professional certification or degree?
Our courses are designed to expand your expertise but do not provide academic credits toward degree programs.
